Metal Building in Hagerman, Idaho

Metal Building Outlet sourced this prefabricated metal building in Hagerman, Idaho, in March of 2022.

Durable, low-maintenance and energy-efficient thanks to the addition of insulation, this building now functions as a shop and stands 30’x50’x16’ in size. Comprised of heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant steel components, the metal shop offers superior strength and durability and has protection overhead in the form of a steel gable roof.

The steel shop has (4) framed door openings that provide access inside, among them (1) 14’x14’ overhead door opening, (2) 12’x12’ overhead door openings and (1) 3’x7’ walk door opening holding (1) 3070 20-gauge insulated steel walk door with a lever lock. The building also has 4” of R-13 insulation installed in its roof and walls, with the blankets featuring heavy-duty WMP-VRR vinyl facing and 6” taped tabs.

A 25-psf ground snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating are additional shop customizations made with the building codes and climate characteristics of the area in mind.

Part of Gooding County in southern Idaho, the city of Hagerman sits about 93 miles southeast of Boise and about a 35-mile drive from Twin Falls.
