Steel Building in Hallam, Nebraska
Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated steel building in Hallam, Nebraska, in late March of 2015.
Light stone in color with a bold, Aztec blue roof, the building is crafted from premium Garco Building Systems components and is now used as a storage area. It stands 36’x50’x14’ in size, and is covered overhead by a durable roof with a 3:12 roof pitch. Inside are (3) framed openings of varying sizes. Among them are (1) 18’x12’ opening enclosed by a 18’x12’ 2400 sectional door and (1) 12’x12’ opening, also enclosed by a 12’x12’ 2400 sectional door. A 3070 20-gauge walk door is also included for convenient user entry and access.
To help keep energy expenditures low and the building warm in the winter and cool in the summer, R-30 fiberglass insulation with VRR facing material is included in the storage building’s roof and walls. In consideration of the typical climate patterns and occasional tornado activity of the Hallam area, the building was engineered with a wind speed of 90 mph and a snow load of 30 lbs.
The village of Hallam is located within Lancaster County in eastern Nebraska. It sits about 25 miles outside Lincoln and 16 miles from Crete.
