Steel Workshop Building in Harker Heights, Texas

Metal Building Outlet was the proud supplier of this prefabricated steel workshop building in Harker Heights, Texas, in late September of 2019.

Now in use as a shop, the exceedingly strong, durable building is comprised of rugged, top-of-the-line steel parts, and once raised, it stands 50’x60’x12’ in size. It features high overhead clearance and a wide clear span that makes the most of usable floor space, while a rugged Galvalume roof with a 1:12 pitch sits overhead, offering a solid, corrosion-resistant layer of protection from the elements.

The building has (2) 3’4”x7’2” door openings for easy accessibility, and a 5-pound snow load and a 110-mph wind speed rating are other customizations made in adherence to local building codes and out of consideration for the area’s typical climate characteristics. Located in central Texas, Harker Heights is a part of Bell County and the Killeen – Temple – Fort Hood metropolitan area. The community sits roughly 70 miles north of Auston and about 100 miles outside College Station.
