Commercial Steel Building in Hesperia, California
Metal Building Outlet sourced this prefabricated commercial steel building for a customer in Hesperia, California in December of 2020.
Now used as a shop by a plumbing company, the insulated, energy-efficient metal building offers superior strength and durability thanks to top-of-the-line steel construction. When raised, the metal building stands 40’x60’x20’ in size, boasting high overhead clearance that provides plenty of room for storage and an open, clear span design that makes the most of available floor space by eliminating interior columns or supports.
The plumbing shop has a heavy-duty Galvalume gable roof with a 2:12 pitch providing reliable protection from above, and it also features numerous customizations and upgrades throughout. It features (4) framed door openings and (2) overhead skylights that allow natural sunlight to stream inside.
An insulation package keeps the interior temperatures of the steel shop comfortable and consistent while lowering energy bills associated with the building. In the roof is a 6” layer of insulation, while the walls of the building contain 4” of insulation.
Other climate-related accommodations include gutters and downspouts, which help prevent water damage, and several customizations made in compliance with local building codes, including a 110-mph wind speed rating and a 5-pound snow load.
