Boasting red paint and a rugged, colored metal roof with a 4:12 roof pitch overhead, the durable, low-maintenance steel building now serves as a shop. Crafted from premium-grade components, the building contains (16) framed openings that vary in terms of size and purpose. Included in the project are (3) 3068 doors, (1) 4068 door, (7) 4030 windows, (3) 3030 windows, (1) 4020 window and (1) 2030 window. The building also features a wind speed rating of 105 mph, an addition that was made in consideration of the tropical rainforest climate of Hilo and the trade winds common throughout the area.
A census-designated place located on the Big Island of Hawaii in Hawaii County, Hilo lies about 77 miles outside Kona and about 33 miles from Kalapana.
