Steel Building in Hogansburg, New York
Metal Building Outlet provided this prefabricated steel building for a customer in Hogansburg, New York, toward the end of March in 2016.
Now used as a storage building, it is crafted from top-grade steel components and stands 40’x80’x12’ in size when fully erect. Overhead is a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof that has a 2:12 roof pitch, and inside the metal building are (2) framed openings. Included is (1) 10’x10’ opening and (1) 3070 opening enclosing (1) 3070 commercial walk door. To enhance overall durability given the typical climate patterns of Hogansburg and the surrounding region, an area prone to heavy seasonal snowfall and occasionally strong storm activity, a wind speed of 115 mph and a high snow load of 60 lbs. serve as additional building features.
A hamlet set within the town of Bombay in northern New York’s Franklin County, Hogansburg lies not far from the U.S./Canada border. The area sits about 107 miles outside Watertown and 71 miles outside Plattsburgh.
