Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building for a client in Homosassa, Florida, in April of 2018.

Offering the strength and durability a Floridian climate demands, the building features top-quality steel construction and now serves as a shop. It stands 40’x50’x14’ in size following a simple erection process, while a rugged Galvalume roof with a 1:12 pitch offers additional protection from the elements from overhead.

The steel workshop features (2) framed openings; (1) 10’x12’ opening enclosing (1) 10’x12’ metal door and (1)3070 walk door opening enclosing (1) 3070 walk door, and it also features a high, 140-mph wind speed rating, an accommodation made in consideration of the strong tropical storm and hurricane activity that sometimes comes through Homosassa and the surrounding region.

Part of eastern Florida’s Citrus County, Homosassa is a census-designated area and home to Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park. The community lies about 10 miles south of Crystal River and roughly 10 miles southwest of Lecanto.
