Metal Building in Humacao, Puerto Rico

Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building in Humacao, Puerto Rico in December of 2020.

Now used as a warehouse by a Puerto Rico-based construction company, the energy-efficient, insulated metal building offers superior strength and durability thanks to high-quality steel construction. When raised, the steel warehouse stands 71’x89’6”x23’, featuring a clear span and high overhead clearance that accommodates cranes, additional storage space or other warehouse needs.

Overhead, a White gable roof with a 1:12 pitch provides reliable protection from the Puerto Rico elements, and (10) framed door and window openings are additional features, allowing building users, warehouse equipment and supplies, and natural light inside.

In the roof of the building are 6” rools of insulation, while the walls hold 4” rolls of insulation. The warehouse also has a liner panel that helps protect the insulation blankets while enhancing the interior appearance of the building.

In consideration of the strong winds and storm activity common across Puerto Rico, the metal warehouse also has a 30-psf snow load and a high, 175-mph wind speed rating.
