Insulated Steel Barn in Corral, Idaho
Metal Building Outlet sourced this pre-engineered metal barn for a customer in Corral, Idaho, in March of 2023.
The owner needed a spacious, versatile steel barn building to use for storage and other purposes during all four seasons in Idaho, and Metal Building Outlet accommodated these requests, securing a durable, attractive metal barn with insulation and heavy snow loads.
Painted walls and trim give the metal building a traditional “barn” look, while steel framing and sheeting make it far more durable and fire-resistant than a wooden barn building. In the roof, the steel barn has 2” of R-7 insulation with VRR facing and a vapor barrier, boosting the performance of the insulation blankets while protecting them against moisture.
The metal barn also has doors in several different sizes, making it easy to access and suitable for storing vehicles, farm equipment, animal feed and similar items.
