Steel Building in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii
Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated steel building for a customer in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii in December of 2014.
Both low maintenance and exceedingly durable, the Hawaii metal building features eye-catching light stone-colored paint and a matching roof with a 1:12 roof pitch. Now used as a shop by the owner, the Garco-brand building stands 30’x50’x14’, and features (3) framed openings. These include (2) 12’x12’ roll-coil doors and (1) 3’x7’ commercial-grade walk door.
Kailua-Kona enjoys a tropical semi-arid climate characterized by hot, humid summers and little precipitation, and with this in mind, the pre-engineered metal building was constructed with a wind speed of 105 mph to ensure maximum durability.
Kailua-Kona is a census-designated place located within Hawaii County on the Big Island of Hawaii. It sits about 77 miles from Hilo and 39 miles outside Waimea.
