Engineered to endure in Utah’s variable climate, the building undergoes use as a shop and features top-quality steel construction, resulting in superior structural integrity. It has a clear-span design that makes the most of available space by eliminating interior supports, and once raised, it stands 50’x30’x12’ in size.
Making the metal workshop accessible for building users are (3) framed openings, among them (1) 3’4”x7’2” framed opening and (2) 3’x10’ openings. Overhead, a rugged, corrosion-resistant roof comprised of Galvalume metal sheeting offers a 4:12 pitch. Other steel shop customizations made with respect for the climate characteristics of the area and the building codes applicable there include a 115-mph wind speed rating and a high, 43-pound snow load.
