Metal Building Outlet was the proud supplier of this prefabricated metal building in Laramie, Wyoming, in November of 2021.
Durable, easy to raise and heavily insulated to maximize energy efficiency, the building currently functions as a shop. When raised, it is 44’x60’x20’ in size and has an attached 8’x60’ open metal lean-to. Comprised of heavy-duty steel components, the building has numerous customizations throughout, and overhead, a corrosion-resistant Galvalume gable roof provides reliable protection from the Wyoming elements.
Distributed throughout the steel shop are (19) framed door and window openings. There are (1) 12’x14’ overhead door opening, (1) 10’x8’ framed opening, (15) framed window openings in a variety of different sizes and (2) 3070 framed walk door openings.
The building also features a complete insulation package, with R-25 insulation installed in the roof and R-19 insulation installed in the walls. A 1’ overhang serves as an additional feature, creating more covered space outside the structure.
The steel shop also features a 30-psf snow load and a 120-mph wind speed rating in compliance with the building and engineering codes currently in place in Laramie.
