Steel Buildings in Leduc, Alberta, Canada
Metal Building Outlet supplied these (2) pre-constructed steel buildings in Leduc, Alberta, Canada, in early March of 2017.
Rugged, durable and easy to maintain, the two buildings now serve multiple purposes. The first and larger of the buildings stands 70’x120’x30’ in size, while the second building stands 70’x30’x12’. Both structures are protected from above by long-lasting, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roofs, but the first building’s roof has a 0.5:12 roof pitch, while the second building’s roof boasts a 2:12 roof pitch.
Distributed between the buildings are (4) 18’x18’ framed openings, and additional project features include a wind speed rating of 0.45 meters per second and a snow load of 1.7 pounds per square foot. These accommodations were made to enhance overall durability given the variable, often-snowy climate associated with Leduc and the surrounding region.
A part of the Edmonton Capital Region metropolitan area, the city of Leduc lies within the Canadian province of Alberta. It sits about 33 kilometers south of Edmonton and just west of Saunders Lake.
