Metal Building in LeMars, Iowa

Metal Building Outlet supplied this preconstructed metal building kit in LeMars, Iowa, in March of 2017.

Now used for automotive purposes, the rugged, low maintenance and energy-efficient metal building stands 40’x46’x16’ in size. Its roof has a 4:12 pitch and is made of hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal, and inside, the building features (2) 24’x16’ framed openings.

To keep the building’s energy bills low while enhancing comfort and sound control for building users, the structure features an insulation package. Within its roof and walls, it contains R-13 metal building insulation. Additional project features include a snow load of 35 lbs. and a wind speed rating of 115 mph, accommodations made with respect for the variable climate and distinct seasonal weather patterns experienced throughout LeMars and the surrounding region.

A city set within northwestern Iowa’s Plymouth County, LeMars bills itself, “The Ice Cream Capital of the World.” The city sits about 22 miles outside Akron and about 14 miles from Craig.
