Metal Building in Lewisville, Minnesota
Metal Building Outlet sourced this pre-engineered metal building for a customer in Lewisville, Minnesota, in late March of 2021.
Ash Gray in color with complementing Charcoal trim, the building has an attractive exterior and a spacious, open interior. When constructed, the metal building, which serves as a shop, is an expansive 80’x300’x18’ in size and has an attached, 20’x20’x11.8’ metal lean-to.
Insulated and energy-efficient, the metal shop has high ceilings that enhance its versatility and a rugged Galvalume standing-seam gable roof with a 2:12 pitch offering protection from above. There are also (13) framed door openings providing access inside, which include (8) 22’x16’ overhead door openings and (5) 3070 framed openings for walk doors.
The main metal shop building has a 4’ overhang, which creates additional covered outdoor space, and it also has 6” of WMP-VRR-faced insulation in its roof, which lowers energy bills and creates a more comfortable work environment. A 35-psf snow load and a 115-mph wind load are additional customizations made in line with local building codes.
