Metal Buildings in Litchfield, Minnesota
Metal Building Outlet supplied this pair of pre-engineered metal buildings in Litchfield, Minnesota, in June of 2022.
Now functioning as part of the infrastructure of a water treatment facility, the (2) insulated, climate-controlled metal buildings offer optimal strength and durability and feature premium-quality steel construction. The first water treatment building is 50’x60’x16’ when raised, while the second stands 20’x47’6”x16’/14’4”.
Overhead, both structures have hardwearing Galvalume roofs offering protection from the elements. The first industrial building has a gable roof with a 3:12 pitch, while the second building’s roof has a single-slope design and a 1:12 roof pitch.
The (2) steel municipal buildings also have (6) framed door openings distributed between them. In total, the (2) buildings contain (3) 10’x10’ overhead door openings and (3) 3070 openings for walk doors.
An R-19 Energy Saver insulation system is another notable customization, with the insulation blankets lining the roof and walls of both buildings. The insulation also has a vapor barrier serving as a layer of protection over it.
Engineered to comply with all relevant building and engineering codes, the metal water treatment buildings also feature 35-psf roof snow loads and wind loads of 115 mph.
