Steel Building in Locust, North Carolina
Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel building in Locust, North Carolina in late October of 2020.
Insulated and engineered to last, the building is comprised of premium-quality steel components, resulting in optimal structural integrity. Boasting an attractive painted exterior, the metal building features high overhead clearance and an open, clear-span design.
The metal building has a Galvalume gable roof providing protection from above, and (10) framed openings serve as additional features.
The roof and walls of the steel building contain 3” of fiberglass insulation, which keeps energy bills low and building users comfortable, regardless of outside temperatures. Affixed to the interior-facing side of the insulation is a heavy-duty WMP-VRR vapor barrier, which helps keep moisture from coming in contact with the blankets.
Other customizations include gutters and downspouts, which divert water away from the metal building’s foundation, and several climate-related features that adhere to local building codes.
