Metal Building Outlet sourced this pre-engineered metal building in Locust, North Carolina, in early June of 2017.

Rugged, functional and accommodating, the building now operates as Edge Sports, a baseball training center. Crafted from high-end steel components, the large-scale metal building stands 122’x140’x25’ in size, and a rugged, long-lasting Galvalume metal roof with a 2:12 pitch protects the interior of the structure from overhead.

The sports facility features (8) 3070 framed openings, each of which encloses one of (8) 3070 walk doors, and the structure also boasts several accommodations made to enhance durability given the climate characteristics of the region. A snow load of 10 pounds and a wind speed rating of 90 mph function as additional project features.

A small, rural city with land in both Stanly and Cabarrus counties, Locust covers just over eight square miles. It sits about 15 miles outside Concord and about 21 miles from Kannapolis.
