Steel Building in Lompoc, California
Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel building for a buyer in Lompoc, California, in August of 2015.
Crafted from premium-grade building components supplied by Garco Building Systems, the brick red steel structure boasts a finished size of 30’x50’x14’, and it is now used as a shop by the owner. Overhead is a rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 4:12 roof pitch, and inside are (2) framed openings. The first is a 12’x12’ opening, and the second houses (1) 6070 door. To enhance the building’s energy efficiency and help it maintain comfortable, consistent interior temperatures year-round, R-13 insulation is installed in the building’s walls, and R-19 insulation is installed overhead in its roof.
In consideration of the typical climate patterns of coastal California, the steel building is constructed with a wind speed of 110 mph. A city located in Southern California’s Santa Barbara County, Lompoc is situated about 55 miles from Santa Barbara and 27 miles outside Santa Maria.
