Metal Shop Building in Lynn, North Carolina

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building to a customer in Lynn, North Carolina, during July of 2014. Constructed using Nucor Building Systems components, the prefabricated metal building now serves as a shop for Pure Country Weavers, a manufacturer of blankets, tapestries and other woven products.

Light stone in color with a Galvalume roof, the building stands 50’x200’x20’, and has a 1:12 roof pitch. It has R-13 insulation in the roof and R-19 insulation in the walls, which improve the building’s energy efficiency and help it maintain consistent temperatures year-round. In addition to metal building roof and wall insulation, the steel building has a wind speed of 90 mph and a ground snow load of 20 lbs.

Lynn, North Carolina is an unincorporated community in Polk County, in Western North Carolina. It lies about 49 miles outside Asheville and about 27 miles from Hendersonville.
