Metal Building Outlet sourced this pre-engineered steel building for a customer in Malibu, California, in October of 2020.

Durable and engineered to last, the economical, attractive metal building features top-of-the-line steel construction and now serves as a shop and caretaker’s residence. Featuring an open, clear span, the steel building is 40’x70’7″x10′ in size, and it has a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant standing-seam steel roof with mixed pitches providing reliable protection from above.

The combination-shop and caretaker’s residence also features several customizations, including a wind load and snow load, which comply with local building and engineering codes and make the structure well-suited for its environment. It also offers superior structural integrity, standing strong in the face of strong winds, salt, moisture and other coastal construction hazards.

Situated west of the city of Los Angeles, Malibu is a coastal community that lies about 30 miles west of Downtown Los Angeles. Neighboring communities include Topanga, Agoura Hills, Calabasas and Woodland Hills.
