Metal Workshop in Mancos, Colorado
Metal Building Outlet sourced this premanufactured metal workshop in Mancos, Colorado, in March of 2018.
Offering supreme strength, durability and energy efficiency, the building features premium-grade steel construction and an open, clear-span design ideal for working and storing goods. Now functioning as a workshop, the metal building stands 55’x70’x14’ in size, while overhead, a rugged Galvalume roof with a 4:12 pitch provides protection from the Colorado elements.
The shop also features an insulation package, with R-19 insulation installed within the roof and R-13 insulation installed in the walls. In addition to helping muffle noise, the insulation keeps energy bills associated with the shop low and building users comfortable, even in particularly high or low temperatures. Additional accommodations made in consideration of the climate characteristics of the Mancos area include a 90-mph wind speed rating and a 40-pound snow load. A sparsely populated town in southwestern Colorado’s Montezuma County, Mancos sits near the border of Mesa Verde National Park. It lies about 28 miles east of Durango and roughly 18 miles east of Cortez.
