Durable, easy to erect and insulated to enhance energy efficiency, the building currently undergoes use as a hangar and is 64’x60’x20’ in size. It has an unobstructed clear span and high ceilings that enhance functionality, and overhead, it features a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant painted Galvalume gable roof with a 4:12 pitch.
The metal shop has (2) framed door openings that provide access inside, which include (1) 58’x16’ opening for a hi-fold door and (1) 3070 framed opening for a walk door. It also contains an insulation package that helps lower energy bills and enhance interior comfort, with 6” of WMP-VRR-faced insulation installed in the roof and 4” of faced insulation installed in the walls.
A 115-mph wind speed rating serves as an additional shop feature; an inclusion made in adherence to the building and engineering codes currently in place across Maricopa.
