Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building in Mechanicsville, Virginia in late January of 2021.

Durable, spacious and customized in line with the buyer’s needs, the building stands 36’x36’x12’ in size and undergoes use as a workshop. It has a clear span that eliminates interior obstructions and maximizes usable floor space, and a rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume gable roof with a mild 2.55:12 pitch provides protection from above.

The steel shop has a 12” overhang on all walls, and (4) door and window openings are additional customizations. Found throughout the shop are (1) 16’x10’ overhead door opening, (2) 3’x7’ walk door framed openings and (1) 3’x4’ window opening.

Gutters and downspouts along the metal shop’s roof help prevent condensation and water damage, and the building also boasts a 20-psf snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating in accordance with local building codes.

An unincorporated community in Virginia’s Hanover County, Mechanicsville sits roughly 10 miles outside Richmond and about 30 miles from Bowling Green, Virginia.
