Metal Building Outlet provided this prefabricated metal building for a customer in Aurora, Colorado.
Energy efficient and built to last, the building boasts a striking, Saddle Tan exterior and a finished size of 30’x60’x14’. Crafted using premium-quality steel materials, the building now functions as a workshop and features (7) framed openings varying in size throughout. These include (1) 3070 opening, (1) 8’x8’ opening, (2) 10’x12’ openings and (3) 4030 windows that allow natural sunlight inside.
Overhead, protecting the shop against the Colorado elements, is a rugged, hardwearing Galvalume Plus roof with a 1:12 pitch. Inside the metal roof is high-performing R-30 insulation, which minimizes energy bills associated with the workshop while improving sound control and year-round comfort for users.
To enhance durability given the seasonal climate variations and sometimes heavy snowfall seen throughout Aurora and much of the Denver metro area, a 115-mph wind speed rating and a 30-pound snow load serve as additional shop attributes. Part of the Denver-Aurora-Lakewood Metropolitan Statistical Area, the city of Aurora has land in both Adams and Arapahoe counties. The city sits about 20 miles outside Denver and about 17 miles from Thornton.
