Metal Building in Cheyenne, Wyoming
Metal Building Outlet sourced this prefabricated metal building in Cheyenne, Wyoming, in February of 2021.
Offering superior structural integrity and energy efficiency, the metal building features top-quality steel construction and currently undergoes use as a shop. It is 40’x60’x16’ in size and has an open, clear span design that eliminates the need for interior trusses or columns, freeing up more usable floor space.
A hardwearing, corrosion-resistant steel roof with a modest 1:12 pitch protects the interior of the steel shop from the elements, and (9) framed door and window openings are additional project features. Found throughout the shop are (3) 12’x14’ door openings, (2) 3’4”x7’2” walk door openings and (4) 3’x4’ windows that let natural light inside.
A 12’x10’ ridge vent serves as an additional shop feature, improving the building’s ventilation. Other notable customizations include a 1’6” overhang along both sidewalls and a high-performance insulation package. In the roof of the shop are 2,520 square feet of 6”, R-19 insulation, and the walls of the shop contain 3,410 square feet of 4”, R-13 insulation. Both the roof and wall insulation also have WMP-VRR facing applied to the inward-facing side, which protects the blankets against moisture and damage.
A 115-mph wind speed rating and a 30-psf snow load are additional accommodations that adhere to local building code requirements in place across Cheyenne.
