Metal Building Outlet was the supplier of this preconstructed metal building in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in March of 2017.

Aesthetically appealing, energy efficient and easy to maintain, the metal building boasts a finished size of 30’x80’x14’. Crafted from high-end steel components, it now serves as a shop, and protecting its interior from the elements is a rugged, hardwearing Galvalume metal roof that resists corrosion and has a 1: 12 pitch.

Inside, the building features (3) framed openings, which include (1) 10’x12’ opening enclosing (1) 10’x12’ door, and (2) 3070 openings housing (2) 3070 walk doors. Installed in the roof and walls of the structure is R-10 metal building insulation, which minimizes energy bills while keeping building users comfortable, regardless of the outside climate.

Additional project features include a snow load of 40 lbs. and a wind speed rating of 100 mph, inclusions made with respect for the variable climate and weather patterns characteristic of the region and the sometimes-ample seasonal snowfall experienced throughout the Colorado Springs area. A home-rule municipality set within central Colorado’s El Paso County, the city of Colorado Springs sits about six miles outside Manitou Springs and 20 miles from Monument.
