Metal Building Outlet supplied this metal building in Denver, Colorado. The owner of this building selected Nucor steel building components in January, 2014 for this building which serves as a personal machine shop and storage building for his toys.
This Nucor building features fox gray walls and a galvalume roof (2:12 pitch) along with several upgrades, making the building both energy efficient and practical.
This Denver County building is generously sized at 40’x100’x14’ and features eight doors. Four of the doors are 12’x12’ overhead doors, one is a 12’x13’ overhead door and three are 3’x7’ walk doors. Each of the overhead doors is connected to an electrical door opener. The shop portion of the building is 60’x90’ and there are full partition walls at 40’, separating the storage space from the machine shop.
This building features a High R Energy Saver system in 40’ and the doors are all steel backed with a layer of 3” R-10 insulation. The roof is insulated with a single layer of 9” R-30 insulation and the walls are insulated with a layer of 8” R-25 insulation, making this building energy efficient and lowering the cost of ownership greatly.
Since Denver blizzards can be rough in the area between Castle Rock and Thornton, this building has a wind load of 90 MPH and a roof snow load of 20 PSF.
