Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Thomasville, Georgia, in late June, 2014. It now serves as a shop for RTD Construction, which manages water, wastewater and utility construction projects in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Standing 20’x40’x14’, this exceedingly durable steel structure has a Galvalume roof with a 1:12 roof pitch, and (1) 12’x12’ 3070 walk door for easy access. In consideration of the humid subtropical climate of this area of Georgia, the steel building was built with a wind speed of 102 mph.
Thomasville, Georgia, or the “City of Roses,” as it is sometimes called, lies within Thomas County, where it is also the county seat. It is considered the second-largest city in Southwest Georgia, second only to the City of Albany. Thomasville lies about 38 miles from the City of Bainbridge and about 43 miles outside the City of Valdosta.
