Metal Building in League City, Texas
Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building in League City, Texas, in late December of 2013.
The spacious, hard-wearing building is now used as a shop for T&T Hoist. Crafted from high-end steel components, the building stands 60’x68’x16’ when fully erect, and is covered by a durable, corrosion-resistant galvalume roof with a 1:12 pitch.
Inside the shop building are (5) framed openings that vary in size. Among them are (2) 18’x13’ openings, (1) 16’x8’ opening and (2) 3080 doors. Additional building features include R-13 fiberglass insulation in both the structure’s roof and walls, which helps keep energy expenditures low while enhancing comfort inside year-round.
In consideration of weather in the League City area, the building is engineered with a high wind speed of 150 mph.
A part of the Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land metropolitan area, League City lies within both Galveston and Harris Counties. It sits about 37 miles from Sugar Land and about 27 miles outside Galveston.
