Metal Building in Lochbuie, Colorado
Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building in Lochbuie, Colorado, in March of 2022.
Now undergoing use as a meat production facility, the building features premium-quality steel construction and stands 60’x180’x16’. A clear span eliminates the need for interior columns or trusses, creating more usable floor space, and high ceilings allow for the use of oversize production equipment.
Durable and engineered for the climate characteristics of Lochbuie, the steel meatpacking plant has a rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume gable roof with a 4:12 pitch providing protection overhead. The steel production facility also has (6) framed door openings that allow access inside, which include (3) 3070 openings for walk doors and (3) 12’x14’ overhead door openings.
A 30-psf snow load and a 115-mph wind rating are additional meatpacking plant customizations.
