Metal Factory Building in Pasco, Washington

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated metal building for a customer in Pasco, Washington in September of 2014.

Now used as a factory, the massive, 100’x180’x20’ metal building is saddle tan in color, and covered with a Galvalume roof with a 1:12 roof pitch. Constructed from Nucor Building System components, the factory boasts a total of (22) framed openings. These include (2) 10’x10’, (1) 8’x10’, (4) 12’x14’, (4) 3070 walk doors and (11) 3030 windows to allow for ample sunlight.

Pasco occasionally sees strong wind patterns when what’s known as Chinook wind conditions exist. With that and the semi-arid climate of Pasco in mind, the building was designed with a wind speed of 110 mph and a ground snow load of 20 lbs.

The City of Pasco is located within Franklin County, in Southeastern Washington. It is part of the Tri-Cities region, alongside Kennewick and Richland, and lies about 85 miles outside Yakima and 9 miles from Walla Walla.
