Metal Building in Sulphur, Louisiana
Metal Building Outlet was pleased to provide this prefabricated metal building for a customer in Sulphur, Louisiana, in December of 2019.
Insulated and engineered to last, the building stands 40’x70’x15’ in size when erect and offers unparalleled structural integrity. Constructed using top-of-the-line steel components, the building undergoes use as a shop and is faster and cheaper to erect than wooden alternatives. It is also easier to maintain over time, resulting in lower costs of ownership.
The roof of the metal workshop has a mild 2:12 pitch and is comprised of hardwearing Galvalume paneling, while (7) framed openings ranging in size offer easy access inside. Featured throughout are (1) 12’x12’ overhead door opening, (1) 12’x14’ overhead door opening, (2) 10’x12’ overhead door openings and (3) 3070 window openings.
The steel shop has layers of R-10 insulation installed in its roof and walls, which makes it highly energy efficient and comfortable for use, regardless of season or outside temperatures. It also features a high, 140-mph wind speed rating due to Sulphur’s location in a high-risk hurricane zone.
Part of the Lake Charles metropolitan area in southwestern Louisiana, the city of Sulphur is located in Calcasieu Parish. It sits about 9 miles outside St. Charles, nestled between the communities of Vinton and Westlake.
