Now undergoing municipal use by the city’s water and sanitation district, the durable, easy-to-raise metal building functions as a shop and is 45’x55’x15’/19.583’. Overhead, it sports a rugged, single-slope steel roof with a slight 2:12 pitch, and (3) framed door openings provide easy access inside.
Found throughout the steel municipal building are (2) 12’x14’ overhead door openings housing (2) 12’x14’ Amarr Series 2432 insulated overhead doors with electric openers and (1) 3’x7’ walk door opening holding (1) 20-gauge 3070 insulated steel walk door with a lever lock.
Notable shop customizations include gutters and downspouts along the roof’s low eave and a 4-foot liner panel package, which enhances aesthetic appeal by giving the shop’s interior a clean, finished look. Additional inclusions made with regard to local building and engineering code requirements include a 115-mph wind speed rating and a 30-PSF roof snow load.
