Prefabricated Metal Shop Addition in Westcliffe, Colorado
Metal Building Outlet sent the building kit for this pre-engineered metal shop addition to Westcliffe, Colorado, in March of 2024.
Engineered specifically for life in south-central Colorado, the metal building offers optimal strength and durability. It lacks sheeting on one end, allowing it to attach directly to an existing shop building already on the property. Desert Sand in color, the shop also has a Fern Green roof and Burnished Slate trim that boost its street appeal while blending well with Westcliffe’s natural landscape.
The shop addition’s broad clear span creates a flexible interior the owner can customize to meet his needs, while a wide overhead door opening offers plenty of space for moving cars, equipment or other goods in and out. Engineered to maximize durability, the steel shop addition also has high wind and heavy snow loads, adhering to local building codes.
In addition to the building kit itself, Metal Building Outlet also supplied a Colorado engineer-stamped foundation plan for this project. This inclusion helped ensure sturdy support for the structure, streamlining the construction process.
