Metal Shop Building in Casper, Wyoming
Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building in Casper, Wyoming, in August of 2022.
Durable, insulated, and easy to maintain, the metal building now serves as a shop and is 60’x120’x18’ once constructed. It has high ceilings and an open, column-free interior that maximizes usable space, and a rugged, corrosion-resistant steel gable roof provides protection overhead.
The shop features an insulation package that keeps energy expenses low and interior temperatures comfortable and consistent during all four seasons. On the roof of the metal shop is a 6” layer of R-19 fiberglass insulation, while the walls of the building contain 4” of R-13 insulation. The insulation has heavy-duty WMP-VRR+ facing adhered to its interior-facing side, which helps protect the blankets and control condensation.
Fabricated to comply with the building and engineering codes currently in place across Casper, the steel shop also features a roof snow load of 30-PSF and a wind rating of 115 mph.
