Metal Warehouse Building in Cortez, Colorado
Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building in Cortez, Colorado, in June of 2021.
Attractive, versatile, and energy-efficient, the metal building now serves as a warehouse. Comprised of rugged, high-quality steel components, the metal warehouse is an expansive 125’x200’x20.5’ when raised and has a wide clear span and high overhead clearance, creating even more usable warehouse space.
Tan in color with Solar White trim, the steel warehouse has a matching Tan single-slope roof with a 1.5:12 pitch offering protection from above. It also contains (8) door openings that provide access inside, which include (4) 3070 openings enclosing (4) 20-gauge 3070 insulated commercial walk doors with lever locks and (4) 20’x14’ overhead door openings holding (4) 20’x14’ Model 3100 roll-up doors with electric openers.
An insulation package keeps the warehouse’s energy bills low and its interior temperatures consistent year-round, with the roof holding 6” of R-19 insulation and the walls, 4” of R-13 insulation. The insulation blankets have heavy-duty WMP-VRR facing adhered to one side, where it functions as a protective cover and guard against condensation.
A 40-psf roof snow load and a 115-mph wind load are additional customizations made in adherence to local building codes.
