Metal Workshop Building in Mancos, Colorado
Metal Building Outlet secured this pre-engineered metal workshop building kit on behalf of a customer in Mancos, Colorado, in 2019.
Offering optimal structural integrity, the steel building, once raised, stands 35’x45’x13’ in size. Comprised of hardwearing, high-end steel components, it now undergoes use as a shop, giving the building owner a safe, year-round place to work, store equipment or utilize for other purposes.
Protecting the steel shop from above is a hardy, damage- and corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 3:12 pitch, and distributed throughout the shop are (4) framed openings that make it easily accessible for users. Featured are (1) 14’x12’ opening, (1) 3070 walk door opening and (2) 3030 windows that let natural light inside the space. Other customizations made in consideration of the typical climate characteristics of Mancos and the surrounding area include a high, 55-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind load.
Part of Montezuma County, the town of Mancos is located in southwestern Colorado. The community sits about 16 miles east of Cortez, near the Four Corners area and the base of Mesa Verde National Park.
