Steel Building in Helena, Montana

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated steel building in Helena, Montana, in early February of 2016.

Now used as a shop by the owner, the 30’x50’x16’ metal building is crafted from premium-quality steel components and boasts a rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 2:12 pitch overhead. Inside the building are (7) framed openings varying in terms of size and function, among them (2) 12’x14’ openings holding (2) 12’x14’ heavy-duty roll-coil doors, (1) 3’x7’ steel walk door for convenient user access, (2) 3’x5’ wall lights and (2) 3’x3’ windows to make the most of natural sunlight inside.

Additional building features include a wind speed of 115 and a snow load of 43 lbs. The latter two inclusions were made in consideration of the typical climate patterns typically seen throughout greater Helena. Montana’s capital city, Helena is a part of Lewis and Clark County, in the west-central part of the state. It lies about 90 miles from Great Falls and about 69 miles from Butte.
