Metal Shop Building in Millington, Michigan

Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal shop building on behalf of a customer in Millington, Michigan, in September of 2019.

Durable, affordable and easy and fast to erect, the building features top-of-the-line steel construction, resulting in optimal structural integrity. When put together, the building, which functions as a shop, stands 50’x100’x18’ in size, and it offers a broad clear span and the high overhead clearance that makes it suitable for a wide range of different uses.

Sturdy and built to last, the building features a rugged Galvalume steel roof with a 1:12 pitch overhead, which protects the inside of the steel shop from the often-harsh Michigan elements. Other customizations include (3) 14’x14’ overhead door openings, which make it easy to move large equipment or other goods in and out.

The metal shop complies with all local building codes and standards, and as such, it features a 35-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating. A small village in eastern Michigan’s Tuscola County, Millington sits about 27 miles outside Flint and about the same distance from Saginaw.
