Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building in Arizona’s Mohave Valley in late January of 2018.

Offering considerable energy efficiency and near-endless versatility, the metal building now functions as a barn. Featuring premium-quality steel construction, the barn stands 40’x80’x6’ in size upon erection, while a rugged, corrosion-resistant metal roof with a 1:12 pitch provides ample protection from above.

Distributed throughout the prefabricated metal barn are (11) framed openings of varying sizes, among them (2) 3070 openings equipped with (2) 3070 walk doors, (2) 10’x10’ openings enclosing (2) 10’x10’ overhead doors, (1) 12’x14’ opening harboring (1) 12’x14’ door and (6) 6030 windows that allow natural light and sunshine into the space.

An insulation package comprised of R-19 insulation in the roof and R-13 insulation in the walls keeps the barn’s interior comfortable, regardless of outside temperatures, and it also helps keep energy expenditures low for the property’s owner. Additional barn characteristics include a 30-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating.

A census-designated area in northwestern Arizona’s Mohave County, Mohave Valley lies about 17 miles outside Bullhead City and roughly 50 miles outside Lake Havasu City.
