Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel workshop building for a customer in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, in April of 2019.

Now used as a shop, the building offers unmatched structural integrity, resulting in optimum protection for stored assets as well as a dry, comfortable space to work or otherwise spend time. Boasting an unobstructed clear span, the building stands 20’x40’x14’ in size, while a roof built from rugged, hardwearing Galvalume metal panels sits overhead, offering a 1:12 pitch.

The metal workshop features (5) framed openings, and these include (3) 10’x10’ openings, 1(1) 3’4”x7’2” opening and (1) 8’x4’ framed opening. Other accommodations and customizations added with respect for the local climate and building code requirements include a wind speed rating of 115 mph and a snow load of 20 pounds. Part of central Tennessee’s Rutherford County, the city of Murfreesboro sits about 35 miles outside Downtown Nashville and about 100 miles northwest of Chattanooga.
