Metal Building Outlet was pleased to supply these (2) pre-engineered metal shop buildings in New London, North Carolina, in September of 2019.
Offering supreme durability and functionality, the (2) buildings currently undergo use as shops. The first and larger metal building stands 65’x90’x28’ in size once raised, while the second, smaller steel building offers a fully erect size of 25’x25’x11’11”. Both offer wide clear spans, freeing up more room to work or store machinery, equipment, vehicles and other oversize items, and both have rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roofs with 1:12 pitches sitting overhead.
The steel workshops also feature (5) framed openings between them, which include (3) 14’x14’ overhead openings enclosing (3) 14’x14’ overhead doors and (2) 3070 walk door openings, each enclosing one of (2) 3070 walk doors. A 90-mph wind load and a 10-pound snow load are additional customizations made during engineering to comply with local building code requirements while making the buildings better equipped for their North Carolina surroundings.
A sparsely populated community in central North Carolina’s Stanly County, New London sits about 48 miles outside Charlotte and about 23 miles from Concord, North Carolina.
