Metal Building Outlet was the proud supplier of this pre-engineered steel workshop building in Newton, Mississippi, in September of 2019.

Durable and designed to last, the building features top-quality steel construction and currently functions as a shop. It stands an expansive 60’x80’x16’ in size once raised, and it has a wide clear span that maximizes usable interior space by eliminating interior columns or supports. It also features high overhead clearance, making it well-suited for any number of different automotive, industrial, commercial or similar uses.

A damage- and corrosion-resistant colored steel roof with a 2:12 pitch sits overhead, protecting the interior of the metal shop from environmental hazards, and (5) framed openings count as additional project customizations. Included are (1) 3’4”x7’2” door opening, (2) 12’x14’ overhead openings and (2) 12’x12’ overhead openings. To maintain compliance with building code requirements, a 5-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating serve as additional metal workshop attributes.

Located in east-central Mississippi, the city of Newton falls within the borders of Newton County. The community sits about 25 miles west of Meridian and about 64 miles east of Jackson.
