Steel Building in Norwood, North Carolina
Metal Building Outlet was the provider of the pre-engineered metal building in Norwood, North Carolina, in January of 2017.
Highly energy efficient and striking in appearance, the building stands 60’x75’x14’ in size, and it is crafted from premium-quality steel components. Now used as an auto shop, the structure is Hawaiian blue in color and protected overhead by a heavy-duty, long-lasting Galvalume metal roof with a 1:12 pitch.
Inside, the building boasts (4) framed openings, which include (2) 10’x12’ openings and (2) 3070 openings. To keep energy bills manageable and interior temperatures comfortable and consistent throughout the year, R-19 insulation is installed within the roof, while R-13 insulation can be found in the walls. A snow load of 10 lbs. and a wind speed rating of 90 mph serve as additional features and were included to enhance overall building durability with respect for the climate of the area.
The town of Norwood is a part of Stanly County, in central North Carolina. It sits not far outside the communities of Wadesboro and Albemarle.
