Steel Shop Building in Overton, Nevada

Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel shop building for a customer in Overton, Nevada, in early November of 2016.

Taupe in color, the attractive and highly functional building is crafted from premium-grade steel materials and now serves as a personal shop for its owner. It stands 30’x40’x10’ in size once fully erect, and it is protected from above by a long-lasting, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof that has a 3:12 pitch.

Inside the steel structure are (2) framed openings, which include (1) 10’x8’ opening equipped with (1) 10’x8’ non-insulated overhead garage door, and (1) 3070 opening. A wind speed rating of 115 mph serves as an additional shop building feature and was included with respect for the dry, desert-like climate and the sometimes-strong wind patterns that come through the Overton area. An unincorporated town set within southern Nevada’s Clark County, Overton lies about 52 miles outside Crystal and 16 miles from Moapa.
