Economical, sustainable and easy to erect, the building stands 73’x55’x18’ once raised and features rugged, high-end steel construction. Boasting a striking, Buckskin Tan-colored exterior, the building is in operation as a shop, and its has a wide clear span that makes the most of available floor space and high overhead clearance that further enhances functionality.
The roof of the metal workshop is comprised of rugged Galvalume metal panels and has a slight 2:12 pitch, providing a solid layer of protection against the Northeastern elements. The steel workshop also has (13) framed openings throughout, among them (4) 14’x14’ openings enclosing (5) 14’x14’ overhead doors, (5) 3070 walk door openings, each of which encloses (5) 3070 walk doors, and (3) 5040 window openings that brighten up the space by allowing natural light inside.
The metal workshop features several other notable customizations, several of which better equip it for life in Connecticut while maintaining compliance with applicable building codes. Such accommodations include a 30-psf snow load and a 140-mph wind speed rating.
A small village tucked within the town if Stonington, Pawcatuck is a part of southeastern Connecticut’s New London County. It sits about 18 miles southeast of Norwich and roughly 8 miles south of Hopkinton.
