After using another metal building supply company and having a negative experience, the owner of this building came to Metal Building Outlet. Located in Petersburg, Alaska, on Mitkof Island, this Nucor steel building is used as a personal shop. Pleased with the ease of ordering one of these buildings the owner of the building has been very satisfied with the entire process.

The 24’x60’x18’ steel building has 1 12’x10’ overhead door and a 3’x7’ walkdoor. An insulation package purchased with the building makes it more energy efficient cutting down on heating costs from the harsh Alaska climate. The roof insulation is R-19 and R-29 walls.  The 3:12 pitch of the roof allows the snow to slide off easily.
