Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel building in Plains, Montana, in late February of 2015.

Now used as a shop by the owner, the durable, functional building crafted from premium Garco Building Systems components stands 40’x48’x10’ and is covered overhead by a durable, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 2:12 pitch. Building features include (6) framed openings of varying sizes, among them (1) 16’x8’ opening, (2) 3’x7’ openings and (4) 4’x3’ openings.

In consideration of the typical climate of the Plains area, the metal shop building is engineered with a wind speed of 90 mph and a high ground snow load of 55 lbs.

A small town in Sanders County in western Montana near the Idaho border, Plains sits about 83 miles outside Kalispell and 77 miles from Missoula.
