Durable, low-maintenance and highly energy-efficient, the metal building features top-of-the-line steel construction and now serves as a shop. Fern Green in color with complementing Koko Brown trim, the steel shop is 30’x50’x12’ once erect and has an open, clear-span design. Its Fern Green-colored roof is comprised of heavy-duty steel paneling and has a 3:12 pitch.
The shop building has (2) framed door openings providing access inside, which include (1) 3070 opening enclosing (1) 20-gauge 3070 bronze insulated commercial walk door with a lever lock and (1) 10’x10’ door opening housing (1) 10’x10’ Amarr Series 2343 insulated overhead sectional door with a manual lift.
A high-performance insulation package is a key metal shop feature, with a double-layer, R-35 banded insulation system in the roof of the building and a layer of R-13 insulation in the walls. The metal building insulation also has vinyl facing affixed to the inward-facing side, which helps protect the insulation against condensation and damage.
